Sorry to be sooo impatient but my internet aint working so im at a friends and could really do with a reply before I go home.
My mum is claiming her capital one charges back a total of £1030 she got a letter from them saying they dont agree with what she has said and their charges are legal but as a gesture of goodwill they are offering £480, now she doesnt know whether to accept it or file a claim??
Normally I would search around for her on here but with no net at home I dont have alot of time. Me and my mum would be VERY grateful if someone can advise
Many thanks in advance.

Tell her to accept their "goodwill" offer, but stating that she will be submitting a claim for the outstanding balance.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

The people at the board for this advise the opposite.
If you accept the goodwill offer then you cannot fight your claim any furtherNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
I was offered half from Sainsburys Bank and I said 'thanks, I'll have what you are offering and then I'll submit a claim for the outstanding'
They wrote back and said no. So I filed and then within 2 weeks I had the full balance back!
Cap One caved fairly early on... I recall that they didn't even offer a defence so I won by default. Easiest so far!
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -

talk to a lawyer(loads in yellow pages) they can give you free advice wheather what captial one did is a illigal or not. then obvsiouly if it is illegal take all the money back if its not take the goodwill gesture.
they might be given you the good will gesture to not make there company look to bad, or they may feel so for you.
Remeber these compines are so rich that kind of money is peanuts to them.0
