Our wee son (eldest child) is currently in the nursery unit at Orangefield and we live in Orby. When the places were awarded I was told by the school that he had got in based on sub criteria and it was his proximity to the school that counted.
He has had a fantastic year and I have to say I couldnt speak highly enough of Orangefield so far.
Good luck whatever you decide to do.0 -
There was a woman on the news this week, she didn't get her 1st, 2nd or 3rd choices. They've given her one four miles away.... she said she'll have to give up her job as it'll take three buses to get him to the school and she couldn't then get to work on time.

You can't make more places than there are. Too many kids, class sizes half the size of when I was at school, that's the problem.0
