"Conduct emergency budget within 50 days of taking office to eliminate bulk of deficit over five years and freeze public sector pay for a year in 2011, excluding one million lowest paid workers "
£18,000 was quoted as the trigger.
Maybe the conservatives have forgotten that public sector workers still have the vote.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -

Labour Party policy is similar - they are talking about freezing the pay of some civil servants and capping any pay rises for everyone else to 1% for two years (from 2011)
