It's been very slow for me this year, only 2 wins.Shouildn't complain though as it's just a hobby. For me it's the getting up in a morning wondering what the day will bring.I suffered with depression for years until i started doing these. Now im working (part time) and just enjoying life.I don't let it take over my life though as i can imagine it's easy done.

Since starting this thread, I haven't won any prizes, but just seeing the 4 or 5 threads over the last week or so about people winning the ITV competitions has kept me going!!!

It's greats that MSE members are winning and it proves that you don't need to pay out to enter!

    Good luck everyone!!

Its been a slow 2010 for me too, infact slow since around November time last year. I have had a couple of biggies, but it was the smaller wins that kept me going, but they have dried up now as well.

I do keep thinking maybe my time would be better spent doing something else, but cannot bring myself to reducing the number of comps I do as I always hope that the next win is just around the corner!

    Exactly the same here!

I tried to give up comping but couldn't.... so now I've decided to stop making it a chore, and only enter when I'm in the mood. That keeps it fun, and even though I'm not winning at the moment, I know that a biggie could be just around the corner ;)
Remember ;) There's no such thing as an idle thought
Many thanks to :A EVERYONE :A who posts on here...

Slow at the moment?! LOL! It's always been slow for me!

I've been comping on and off since mid-2008 and I can pretty much count the things I've won on one hand. I still keep on entering though because you never know what's around the corner... :)
If I don't respond to your posts, it's probably because you're on my 'Ignore' list.

I am still waiting for a big win - no1 like most a CAR also been trying for a nice family hol, spa weekend or a TV, have been trying to win one of these since 2006, My biggest win in that time was a weekend in London for me and my Mum (OH and DS left behind) have won quite a few bits and bobs which have been really nice (only enter things I want or can use for pressies).

Had some nice bits at the start of the year but nothing for a while now.

    :dance:Carry on Comping

I've been comping for a year, I have noticed my wins come like buses (ya know, none for ages then LOADS at once etc). This year was terrible but this month has been absolutely amazing!! I won a motherboad (that's worth £300), £100, 50" TV & PS3 and lots of other bits. I think you just need to hang on until it's your time. It will be eventually ;) I think a lot of new compers will start comping in the new year, as their resolution, I guess that only about 5-10% actually continue doing it thru the year, so possible that by April onwards you will start noticing more wins. Hope that's the case for you :D xx
    :) xx JoJo xx :)

:heart2: And only now I see the light...

I have been of work the past couple of weeks after having an operation and i have entered loads more comps but still no luck lol.
I look at the photos of what people have won and this spurs me on.
