The benefits system no longer a safety net that encouraged people to go out and find work, it actually discourages work and in these cases is a viable alternative to working.
I'm a firm believer in the fact you shouldn't get handouts for nothing. Why people on welfare can't be put to good use picking up litter or painting playgrounds is beyond me.0 -

& the OP wants to deliberately starve these people to death.
no i don't - they can GO TO WORK and PAY to FEED their OWN family rather than take from the taxpayer.
have you ever not watched a programme with Graham Norton in it? Then you must be a gay hating facist you wants them all dead? as I said before, YOU ARE AN IDIOT.
But then, you are a lefty, so we knew that anyway.0 -

You are the idiot.
& you either:
1) Are a wind up merchant
2) Write out of your a rse...
3) Are fully functional control freak who actually believes that the deliberate starving to death of adults & children is a good thing.
Please feel free to clarify which one it is..Not Again0 -

no, i didn't say i would starve them to death, I said I hope they starve - when they are not given their free money.
they could avoid starvation by (a) not having another 7 kids and (b) WORKING to support their family.
However, if they choose to do neither and choose to wallow in their own mess, then I would certainly not help them out.
they made their bed, now they can lie in it.0 -

Again, this is nonsense. Were you dropped on the head as a child?
Who is deliberately starving anyone? They can go and earn money to pay for food - who is stopping them? Answer me that?0 -

Do you use the same grammar, spelling and punctuation in application forms and on your CV? And do you have the same rather robust opinions in real life as you do on here?
If this is the case then that might give you something to go on as to why your career may not be progressing in the way you might have hoped.0 -
Part of labours manifesto was to make a family £40 a week better off by working.
I laughed. Who's going to get up and go out to work for £40 a week more than what they recieve for doing as they like, when they like!?0
