Hi,
I have spotted the MK savers thread, and was wondering if there is one for Northampton, or if anyone has any mega tips for me
Am moving in with BF in Northampton in 7 weeks and know nothing about the area other than the visits there in the past 12 months, lots of socialising etc but not necessarily to the cheapest (or healthiest) places (Buddies is amazing but i dread to think of the calorie content lol)
Anyone got any tips for me on how BF and i can have a MSE life together?
Thanks

Hey puzzledbubbles, unfortunately I don't have any tips for you but was just wondering how you were getting on in Northampton?
My sister and her boyfriend have just moved to Roade and are looking for cheap and cheerful ways to spend their time and meet new people as they're getting quite bored just the two of them staying in and watching TV!Saving up for our 2014 Las Vegas wedding and US road trip honeymoon, all deposits paid - just balances to go! :j0 -
I have now been in Northampton for a couple of years:
Billing Aquadrome at the weekends normally have interesting things going on, car shows and festivals. Alot of the time you have to pay to get in but if you park your car in The old Mill pub car parp and walk alongside the river there is a bridge that cross's over into the park. This is a free way of getting in!!
Selcy Forest is not far from Roade and has an amazing tree top walk in the middle which is worth visiting.
Pittsford Resevior is a nice walk too.0
