Camera recommendation anyone?

I'm looking to buy a new digital camera - have had Fuji in the past and has served me well. I've heard alot about the Panasonic Lumix range and wondered if anyone has any personal recommendations for this or other cameras?
I want something relatively compact (to take to Europe) and am going to lots of music concerts so needs to be able to take good pictures in the dark etc. Also a good zoom and best wide-angle possible is a must.
THanks in advance to anyone who has suggestions .................

I'm by no means an expert, in fact I'm a bit techie phobic but I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 which I love! I chose it with help from a knowledgeable friend as it suited my requirements perfectly. I use it mostly for my business on ebay, it takes fabulous close ups. It does get a lots of use for regular stuff - music concerts, sports days, school concerts, family holidays etc and I've been pleased with the movie quality. In the past I've had a Samsung, a Ricoh and an earlier version of what I have now (TZ3 I think) but the TZ5 is much better. It's not the smallest/most lightweight of cameras but the results are good. It's easy to use (if I can do it anyone can!) and the results are good even when you're a novice0
