I guess HM is right-
< might return to elaborate when sober...
No need.:D“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

>maps.google.co.uk...<
Bet the Google car was racing along as fast as it could photographing them streets, doors locked, driver not daring to make eye contact with the ferals...:)
>It's all down to supply and demand after all<
I'm just thinking of the Tories plans to move civil servants out of London, the 'Westminster Village' of Home Office, MOJ, BERR etc. could all relocate to Burnley saving the tax-payer £££ and the pen-pushers would be quids in after selling their houses in Surrey.0 -
Not sure I would have wanted to be the Google driver asked to film these two streets on the opposite side of the river Foyle.

Apparently these streets exist only in a bizarre dimension, hidden in a rift in the space time continuum, where BTL never happened, there was no credit boom, banks never issued 100% mortgages, or any of the other fallacious bear memes.....
Or maybe, just maybe...... It's all down to supply and demand after all.;)
Why did you post this Hamish, are you turning bearish?
Anyone paying over 100K may think they paid too much.0 -
They are cheap becuase they are dumps...quite simple.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

"Gobnascale"... whoever chose the name for that place condemned it to be a shithole. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
