My daughter never had nappy rash until she was teething at which point it was like someone had run a cheesegrater across her bum even the slightnest wipe would cause it to bleed. She was put on some serious medication by the doctor. Although at the time we didnt make the link between the 2 it was our health visitor who pointed it out to us.
My friends daughter also suffers the same problem.
I always let my kids run free and let the fresh air kiss their bums, Its the way i was brought up.
I dont like the huggies wipes, but thats because i find them to thick, thats personal choice though. Plus i always struggled to just get 1 wipe out of a packet they used to always come out in a big wad. And id spent the next 10 minutes struggling to stuff them back in.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

I'm in the Huggies baby club and received a £1 off coupon recently for the huggies natural care wipes. As tesco had them on sale for £1 hey hey - free wipes!
I would never buy these however. They are just rubbish. It's like using wet tissue paper. They crumble and leave bits of tissue on my baby and you have to use loads to get them clean.
The regular huggies wipes are lovely, this is only the natural care wipes I'm having trouble with.0 -

LOL!!
Here's a slightly different take on nappy rash - all three f my kids (18, 9 & 3) only ever got nappy rash when I used Pampers nappies - weird, I know. It would always stop when I changed brands.
As for wipes, I've also used Huggies - whilst they didn't produce nappy rash, I also found them too thick, and a bit rough, but they are great for general cleaning up - spills on carpets, upholstery, etc. My personal favourites are Johnson's, especially the ones with lotion built-in ( I forget the name), but I've also used loads of supermarket own brands which have all been great - Sainsbury's, Asda (with shea butter) and Lidl.I love Frazzles!0 -

I totally agree. My children (all 3 of them) never had a sore bum unless they were teething. It can be hard enough trying to soothe them for their teeth, let alone them being uncomfortable!!Thanks to all posters :A0
