I have a CCJ for around £800 dated in March 2002. I did not realise that I had not paid it off (I did actually completely forget, only seeing it on my file reminded me). I do intend to pay this off, but would like to know when the CCJ will drop off my file. Is it 6 years from March 2002, or 6 years after I settle it?

It's 6 years from the date of issue so 2002!

6 years from the date of order, the date of settlement is irrelevant (unless you pay within the 1st 28 days) also a CCJ will always be legally enforceable ( within reasonable time limits) and is not subject to the limitations act.:rolleyes: It’s hard enough remembering my opinions - without remembering my reasons for them :rolleyes:0
