Mildew on my bath

Long story shortened, there's (what I think is) mildew on the tiling and sealant surrounding my (rather old, enamel) bath.
I use the Cif Oxy-Gel stuff to clean it as that's about the only thing I've found that doesn't affect my eczema but it does nothing to shift the mildew.
I tried looking in the Indexed Collections but nothing really stood out as an answer to my problem - and, quite frankly, it's getting more than a little bit annoying.
Does anyone know how to shift the mildew without damaging the bath/tiles/sealant?
Cheers

on a slightly more constructive front
try white vinegar or chlorine bleach to kill the mildew, and then clean to remove the chemical elements which will aggrevate your excema

I used this stuff from Lakeland and it is quite good. Nasty chemicals though

I had about given up with the mildew round the base of my shower. Thought I had tried every darn thing including the grouting pens. Was getting to the stage where I was ashamed to let people in the upstairs bathroom cos the line of black round the shower base looked so bad ! Any how after reading the posts on here I tried Dettox Mould Remover stuff. It didn't work when I followed the instructions..so I opened the bathroom window and kept spraying it on and leaving it for hours at a time ( instructions say 5 minutes but I really was that fed up with the black)Took about 24 hours , and I could smell the bleach but at last the black is gone.It is great no longer catches the eye at all. May be worth a try if yours looks as bad as mine did !!0

Was just about to suggest the same thing, tried everything 'natural' i could against the mildew, but gave up and used the Dettox Mold and Mildew remover, and it is wonderful stuff, got rid of all of it, and now im able to keep on top of it with my normal cleaner (diluted stardrops!!!)0 -
My BIL used to work in a leisure centre. He gave me some chlorine to get rid of the black stuff. It is particularly nasty stuff, it has to be diluted loads and windows left open for a while. Not sure whether your enamel bath would cope with it but it sure gets rid of the black stuff. Really couldn't advise of where to get it from commercially though.0
