Samsung digital camera, half price at Comet - any good?

On the Comet website, they're advertising the Samsung Digimax Cyber 530 digital camera for £89.99, which apparently is half price. Seems like a bargain, but the weird thing is I can't find this camera for sale anywhere else, nor any reviews for it, and it's not even on the official Samsung website (and I've looked at the British, European and American sites). I can find a Samsung Digimax 530 but it's a different camera.

Just wondered if anyone had bought one and if so whether it's any good? Is it half price cause it's an old model or it's not very good? Also, on the specification on the Comet website it says it has no internal memory - is that a mistake? I can't believe a camera which should be £179.99 would have no internal memory at all.

A lot of the big chains (Dixons, Comet etc.) have a deal with the manufacturers whereby 'exclusive' models are made for them - they're actually usually the same as a normal one, with a slightly different name. There is one of the cameras you mention for sale on Ebay.......................;)

This camera is almost certainly the same camera as the SAMSUNG DIGIMAX S500. It's available for the same price everywhere else and doesn't seem to be advertised as reduced anywhere else. I'm quite disappointed in Comet as they are usually very good. They're not as bad as Dixons and Currys at this kind of tactic. It's almost like a boots offer actually.
