Just one last question before I ring and speak to company tomorrow
After visiting the CAB it has come to light that she has other debtsand doesn't seem able or willing to pay any of them, the best the CAB could offer was to help her get an IVA and not let any bailiffs through her front door.
When I spoke to the company they suggested an offer of around £4,000, I've spent all weekend begging and borrowing and can only manage £2500-£3000 and that's with an overdraft from the bank. Is it still worth offering? or would such an offer be insultingly low?
I've certainly learnt my lesson the hard way - don't ever become a guarantor even if it is a dd0 -
Hadn't realised you were a guarantor until your last post. Does your daughter realise what sort of trouble she is dropping you into?0

lol, yeah, i think she has just given up and thinks she can ignore everything and iva & cab will sort it all out for her and to be honest it is only this last fun filled week that I've really understood what a guarantor means0
