I actually quite like POF and OKCupid as websites - they are better laid out and more *insert word I have forgotten that means adaptable to your needs/tastes here* than the paid sites I have (limited) experience of.

    Ergonomic? :rotfl:

In a very un-MSE moment a while back, I joined a paid dating site.

I have to say, it is every bit as bad as POF.

Whilst you get less of the scammers and 18 year olds, the men on paid sites are if anything, less appealing (both physically and in personality).

I think anyone that is reasonably intelligent and not completely unfortunate-looking knows they don't really need to pay to meet women, so hang out on the free sites. The ones who have tried that and failed join the paid ones.

    I would never pay again.

I actually quite like POF and OKCupid as websites - they are better laid out and more *insert word I have forgotten that means adaptable to your needs/tastes here* than the paid sites I have (limited) experience of.

I wondered that, one of my mates is on a paid website and it looks no different. I have kinda experimented - POF very limited profile, versus OKCupid, more detailed - I get more hits on the POF one.

I have to say most are prats but some seem ok. Just as hit and miss as a bar I would imagine.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Less hit and miss, you don't have "bottle" stupidity to deal with as well...

Anything we can do Judi? :grouphug:

I showed Natasha the picture of the Little Tykes house and she was jumping up and down saying 'pease can we get one, pease, pease'. :)

And then when my Mum rang, she was excitedly babbling to her on the phone about getting a house with a DOOR! :rotfl:
