All fine now, I dug some things out of the freezer (gotta love leftovers!) and they were a hit - and I've found the smilies! :D

    I like it here :j

    Hi Fraja and welcome!

I have to agree with everyone about the cupboard spring clean. It will save you some £ and avoid wasting food/products.

I always check what I have in the cupboard (foodwise) before going shopping may it be rice, pasta or beans and go through my recipe book to see what good I could make out of it (you can also google recipes), I then buy whatever I need to complement the recipe.

Meal planning is your friend as well as pound shops, you can save a lot of money by getting your toilettries (for example) there, they have the same brands that you will find in supermarket.

    Good luck!

Hello i have a suggestion. How about ordering contact lenses from the internet. It is supposed to be a lot cheaper? I think there is a link on MSE somewhere about that. But cannot find it. Maybe because i haven't breakfasted.

You will be surprised how many more savings you can make. I have been on this site for a month and cannot believe how much i have saved!!!!

    Goodluck,
