It is annoying. I have two on there that were put on just before my first mortgage completed. I had made numerous calls to the bank at the time to give me a bit more time as the completion was literally round the corner but they went ahead and defaulted me anyway. And even though they consolidated the loan and current account debt as one, they decided to give me a default on each which was lovely of them.
Suffice to say, the mortgage about a week after and the defaults were satisfied in full straight away but now I have two lovely defaults sitting there which wont go until 2014 which means I am unlikely to be able to remortgage with someone on the high street till then0 -
It just annoys me that I have to pay someone elses mortgage for the next 5 years when i have more than enough money to pay a mortgage. The worst thing is I know its all my own fault for my lax attitude when I was younger, If only I would have seen my life going somewhere back then.0
