My mum does betterware ,she saw an ad in a local paper the agent then called round a few days later. unsure how big mums round is but she has been doing it now 10-12 years maybe longer and loves it. Because she is well known to her customers she has built up a very good regular customer base.

Personaly l think that must be the trick with regard to sucessful selling of Betterware. The amount of different Betterware sellers we have had over the years is crazy. You try and collect a set of something from the brochure and low and behold you don't see the same seller again and the next seller comes along 6 months later.

I think they take ages as they are advertised in our jobcentre and i applied ages ago and have spoke to someone who then left and have not heard anything since, even though i have rung and left a message with the area co-ordinator....i'm a bit sick of chasing them now...musn't meant to be ;)
  • I just had a callback from my local co-ordinator, shes coming around tomorrow and told me I could start the same day! Im little sceptical but I will let you know how it worked out in a week or two
  • you will enjoy it! xx

Is it true you don't pay for the books even if you don't get them back?
I've tried Kleeenezee but they charge and if you don't get them back you have to pay for more.
300 in 90 mins sounds fast delivery, I deliver flyers for my business and reckon on an average of 120 per hour taking into account terraces, semis and detached.

  • well its a lot more intense than I had hoped for. A guy dropped 200 books at my house and told me to call his wife... she did manage to explain everything over the phone however but i don't have much time to have them all out and back in again. BUT must importantly I had no idea how heavy these books are!! she told me i would have to use my own bag until a month or two had passed ( as many new starts get fed up and don't return them...). I went out with my daughter earlier and delivered about 40 and it was really tricky. I didnt consider I would have to write down the street name and house numbers as i went along. I had told her on the phone i had no transport and some of the areas i have to do are just too far away when i can only carry 30-40 at one time. I really didn't think this through.:(

Aw no that doesn't sound very good does it, the area co-ordinator should have least come round to explain everything properly seeing as the more she helps you the better her wage ;)

I found that with the woman i did initially speak to, she said i will come round if you want very unenthusiastically and i said i'd give the area a think about and then tried to get hold of anyone to say yes i'll do it and now cannot get hold of anyone :D

I think its good if you get a good area and co-ordinator :)
  • That not good i still aint herd anything. I would of expected a bit better than theres some books and phone the wife lol. I know its not megger bucks but dont they earn 11% of what you earn , i would expect her to come out with you on your first outing and maybe collect some (not all. 11% of £0 = ) just to get you going. The way you have been left i can see most people quiting before they have started :( ..
Good luck with it mabe i will get a start 1 day ..:A
