got it from a flower wholesalers in wirral, shellsuit sent me there, it cost me £4.99 + vat, for a 29x25m roll. that is the pale blue one, but i doubled it up for the runner down the middle, as single layer is didn't give much colour.0

Thanks, I think I will have to have a look into that, it looks really effective!
Might have to find somewhere online though, that sounds like quite a way away!Bump due 22nd September0 -
Hey Missy!
I've just been to Sainsbury's and they had some quite good artificial plants and flowers at decent prices. Unfortunately they don't seem to have the same ones online but it is probably worth checking out the local supermarkets for anything suitable.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
I'm having a single white tulip (fake - got 200 for about £80) in a tall vase with aqua crystal type things in the bottom. Thats it.
Cost about £2Green and White Barmy Army!0 -

Cost me just over £50 for the organza ribbon, the crystals scattered around the table, i bought 2 tubs only needed 1, the heart shaped candles was £2.99 for 6, but they looked really nice and the blue water colour.
and the vases from ikea were just simple and effective, i would have prefered the roses to have been more open, and have the blue edge, but daughter liked the buds better.
Organza bows were real easy to make, i made them up the day before.

have loads of choice, but they are not as cheap as buying it on a roll, , i just googled organza 29x250 -
I thought the ones they had on four weddings were effective - just a cylindrical clear container with a string of fairy lights (and feathers I think) lit up inside...
Well, I can't find a picture anywhere so you'll have to use your imagination0 -
Have you thought about feathers? If you got some big fluffy ones they can either be upright in a tall vase or can be swirled inside the goldfish bowl with some beads at the bottom. You wouldn't need many per vase to make an impression and they can be bought well in advance (unlike fresh flowers).0

The fairy lghts in vases thing, how on earth do you light them? Its not like the cable can come out of the top or drill a hole through the bottom of a glass vase?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
