Your driving licence is only proof that you are allowed to drive a car in the UK and is some proof that you are who you say you are.
You don't have to have the right to work in the UK to qualify for a driving licence, so it is no proof of eligibility to work.0 -

The letters from the jobcentre that tell you what are entitled to claim can be used as well.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

If you are a British person you are generally stuck with providing the Passport OR Full Britosh Birth Certificate plus documents NI from Government body or ex employer.
You can obtain a full length birth certificate from the registry office for about £8. The above link is what the Home Office say is acceptable - the HO page is harder to navigate and find it on, but that's the list they use anyway.
A Driving License does not appear on the list of acceptable documents i'm afraid."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." My hero, Mr Steer.0 -
