Turkey mince bought Tuesday, made into meatballs and frozen Wednesday night. Taken out Sat. morning to defrost for tea, but not eaten. They have been in fridge - ok to eat or going off now they've been defrosting 36 hours ish?

Dont know the real science behind this but I know I would eat them:D Maybe just cook them a bit hotter than normal0 -
Should be okay as long as they're thoroughly heated. The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0

Id say they would be fine.
I took mince out of the freezer on Thursday to use on Friday night, i ended up going to my aunts for a fish supper for her birthday (last minute plan) so the mince wasnt used til Saturday afternoon. I had the lot myself, for 2 different meals i must say, (no one else to feed anymore and DS wont eat it), and im still here! lolBringing up 2 handsome boys and 1 gorgeous girl the MSE way!Joseph born 19th December 2001Matthew born 8th August 2007Tara born 23rd January 20110 -
If they've been in the fridge the whole time I think they'll be absolutely fine.
If they had been left out at room temperature I'd be concerned, but not otherwise.
I recently misread the best by date on some bacon lardons, and we ate them a whole month past their date.0 -
