Free Music Festivals and Events 2010

I keep an eye out for free music events and there are hundreds of them, all over the country. For example:

Monmouth Festival (10 days in July)

The UK's biggest free festival for families - the Godiva:

Birmingham's Annual Jazz and Blues festival (90% free!)

There are also big open air live music events in Manchester, London and elsewhere on St George's Day.

Worcester Music Festival is a free music festival taking place over the weekend of 20th-22nd August in and around Worcester city centre. There are over 30 venues and somewhere in the region of 130 bands. Most gigs are free entry but some are £1 or £2.

Theres also radio 1s big weekend which is also free, its held in bangor this year, 1 in swindon last year was pretty good from a first time music event goer, tickets havent been released but if you join the facebook group you should get an update when tickets will be released,
