I mostly use it to make chicken and sweetcorn soup:):starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
I eat it out of the can cold! Or if I'm feeling naughty I will warm it up and eat it out of a bowl!My daughters are my world0

Had a Hairy Bikers cookbook for my birthday - has a couple of lovely recipes in it for cornbread in it that use this. Texas cornbread is yum!!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Our local supermarkets stopped stocking it, but the Asian supermarkets have it!
I make my own easy version of chicken and corn soup with it!
1 can creamed corn,
1 can of water,
1 or 2 eggs,
some cooked shredded chicken
Knorr Aromat seasoning
Heat the can of corn and water in a pan, when it's just about simmering, stir the egg(s) in a cup/small jug and pour into the pan in a thin stream, stirring all the time so you don't end up with an omelette in the middle of your soup! Keep stirring and add in the cooked shredded chicken, when heated through, serve with plenty of Aromat to season to your taste - yummy!
(Other seasonings may work, but I think Aromat is the perfect flavouring, and I don't add any extra salt or seasoning while cooking either).A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -

Ooooh I'm so pleased to find other fans of creamed sweetcorn, its really popular in NZ but I've never seen it on the shelves here, obviously its around tho so I'll have to start looking again. Its yum on toast but also fab for making fritters, love the sound of cornbread tho will definately try that if I can find a tin!0
