Cleaning leather bag

Guess we should start the "Radley (bags with character) Laydee Owners Club"
I started reading this thinking I could find out how to clean my natural Radley....will go & find my gloves!
I did read that you can use WD40 to clean marks off a light bag, but I'm a bit reluctant to try it...especially at the price of the bag!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Try the nikwax site! They make stuff for cleaning saddles, shoes etc and have a lot of information about waht you can use on site.
I've no idea what a radley is but if it was me,I would try to sand the marks out (like you can with suede)and then treat the leather with a nikwax treatment (LOL There are probably people gasping at my ignorance now)

What a great sister!
I'm kind of sad that I've made mine a bit grubby, but keeping it 'for best' was getting silly, so it's definitely Wear Your Marks With Pride. And your gloves, obviously.0 -

Even had a look at the radley website, couldn't find any info on there but at least I know what you are all on about now!;)Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Try Baby Wipes for sensitive skin or make up removal and spot test first. I have used a very mild liquid toilet soap on a clean sponge and always clean in a circle then wipe with a clean, damp cloth. There are Help vids on U tube especially for removing marks from leather. Try those from the Furniture/Handbag Clinic as they also sell the stain remover & leather conditioning products, then when cleaned feed the leather and then apply a protectant seal product like a Leather Balsam. Also always do a spot test somewhere not visible before using any product. And buy decent products that are proven to work . Don't give up as you will be amazed at how you can improve the appearance of marks with the right treatment - even a clean white pencil eraser can remove a dirty mark .Good Luck.0
