Hey Leedsforever. Good luck with your journey :D

Have you posted your SOA anywhere, might be a good place to pop it up.

    thanks for your reply,
no I havent yet, tbh my income is all over the place I get a basic as I said but my commission is uncapped so no ideas of future earnings.
Plus OH sometimes gets 3 days work a week sometimes 0, and tbh I think this is why we waste so much money, I really need to be more thrifty and hoping this site will help me with that :)

It is hard when your don't have a set income but you could always base your SOA on a minimum that you and your OH get and then if you can get that to balance anything extra coming in is a bonus.

Have you thought about keeping a spending diary to see where you "waste" your money? I did once and it was scary how much I spend on basically nothing :o

I could do that but then I know the way my mind works, I would see it as a bonus then shop lol... and basically just hitting my targets would at least double my salary... my commission is paid 4 weeks later and next week will be my first week where my commission is paid, so should have more of an idea then.
I also travel alot within my job and the company pay very poorly back on the petrol which is something else I wouldnt be able to predict on a SOA!

I am definetly going to start putting every penny in my diary, I have started taking pack up to work, working in town centres etc its so easy to choose more expensive options, like shop sandwiches etc. Ive stopped with the costa coffees.... and really should stop smoking!! x

I am with you there, my biggest outgoings are smoking and sandwiches, I can easily spend a fiver a day on lunch and have very little to show for it.
