Hi, as with post no.10 above, we have brought ours from Bliss rings, they were brilliant!!! came to the house, u can try on all different samples (not gold obviously) but you can get an idea, you can choose from 9ct, 18ct, platinum etc. if you want diamonds, what size? how many? you can have engraving too! custom made wedding rings just for you, and you even get free gift for bridesmaid(s) and best man.x0

We went to a local, independent jewellers in Nottingham and have had them made, both cost £430 in total. I've got an 18ct white gold wishbone style ring, custom made to match my twisty engagement ring, and OH has got a plain titanium ring. So much cheaper than we were expecting (the store we got my engagement ring from quoted approx £900 to have my wedding band made... over 3 x the price we've paid for it...)!
I would try to find an independent jewellers locally and find out if they can make what you want.:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -

Totally agree with this point, the rings we wanted seem to be unaffordable, quotes ranging from £800 to £1200, went to a local independent and got them both for £490!!:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:0 -
Just have to say everyone, fantastic advice! We've been looking at the usual, H Samuel, Ernest Jones, Emson Haig etc and the ones I LOVE are about £1000, way over budget, and OH couldn't find any he liked! Went onto Emla, the Ebay shop and we both found ones we love, and well in budget. So pleased! Always a bit dubious about buying expensive things online but if everyone has only good things to say about them (and 100% feedback) then we're sold!
