55 Inch Samsung TV

Right We've decided on a tv:

Samsung 55 Inch LED UE55B7020

We were going with the 46inch version but apprantly they are discontinuing the B version to bring in the C version. Which is all the new 3DTV, Pritty Pointless if you ask me.

Anyway, We are looking for the best price for one (store & internet)

Looking for £2,000 or less for Tv on its own.

Or £2200 give or take a little bit with a decent cinema system.

Either that or is there a other make of tv that is AS Good as this with the same features.

Thank You

Alex

Do you really want a 55 inch tv? Anything about 40 in seems pretty ... tacky?
    Gone ... or have I?

It was orignally going to be a 46inch. But we had been to comet yesterday (sat) and there was the tv above, had been redeuced from 2,500 to 2k but sound isn't all good on the new tv's so we wanted a cinema system to go with , but the guy didnt want to do a deal on any of it, Blu-Ray cinema system & tv for £2,200 instead of £2,400. Both didnt come with any boxes or manuals (ex display , last ones in stock)

Anyway, we looked at it up close , far back different videos were played back (and yes i know the videos are made to make the tv look splendid) and we couldnt find one thing wrong with the tv. Reviews on the internet are 9.1 out of 10.

We got a Panasonce Veira 32inch LCD and it doesn't look anything , its about 4 years old and is big and chunky. Thats was 2k when the first come out and i must say that my Samsung Bordeux 32inch that i brought 2 years ago for £500 looks alot better.

As we have a all round sitting LCD doesnt really help as people get bad views from the side. 40inch didnt look anything , didnt even look bigger then the 32. So we thought 46-50. But this 55 inch was brillant. Just a shame about the sales rep.
