My new fridge has changed my life

Got my new fridge delivered this morning and it's absolutely fantastic - why am I telling everyone here? Well, because my old one was quite small and I always lost stuff at the back of the shelves and then when I found it all it was way past its best - bad housekeeping, I know
.
The new fridge is called an easy access model and has pull out drawers instead of shelves so I can get into every nook and should never lose stuff again.
I know I need to get out more and get a life but, I tell you, I never knew I could be so chuffed about a bloomin' fridge.
If anyone is after a new under worktop model then I'd highly recommend one of these - Co op delivered and points as well :T.
Sorry for the sermon but I had to tell someone ......................

Those green faces show how jealous I am LOL.
I wish you every happiness with your new fridgy friend. It sounds like a very efficient use of space. What brand is it so we can have a nosy.......linky maybe???0 -
I have got a Bosch fridge with pull out shelves it's brilliant. We can fit so much more in even though it's actually the same amount of space!Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/20

It's the Bosch Logixx - it's worth looking out for them on ebay as they come up from time to time - I tried to get one for ages on there but they were always too far away so I saved my pennies and asked for donations for christmas and easter etc and got myself a shiny new one.
Oystercatcher is right - it takes up the same space as a normal fridge but you can fit so much more in it..... I'm off to stroke it lovingly again - sad or what? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::hello:0 -
we had one - it was great - left it in a house when we sold it! would get another one ..0

That is a really clever idea and such versatile shelving. Much as I like my fridge freezer I have to admit, because it is so tall that I need a step stool to reach the upper shelves it isn`t really very user friendly for me.
I should think the pull out design would also be very good for wheelchair users too.0 -
It is useful to have a bit of well-designed machinery.
I've recently got a new washing machine. I'd had my previous washer-dryer for many years and it needed replacing. I've now got a machine that is washing machine only (no tumbledrying bit) and so I have a bigger drum on it (7kg instead of the 5kg I used to have) and I dont need to do the washing so often and to be honest I dont feel the need of any tumbledrying facility in the slightest - the stuff comes out pretty nearly dry anyway after the spin it has had.
Very easy to use as well - one could fiddle around and manually adjust the spinspeed, temperature, etc - but I just twirl the knob round to either the general wash setting, sensitive wash setting or rinse and leave it to get on with the default settings on these and bingo. My wash only takes 50 minutes too (the general wash as I call it) too - after the last machine taking nearer 2 hours.
Lovely:D - and mine is a Bosch too.:D

I couldn't agree more with you. It is amazing how a piece of well designed and efficient machinery or equipment can transform your life and uplift your spirits.0

That's a fantastic looking fridge. Should have known it was a Bosch - my washing machine is Bosch, has lasted 10+ years and still going strong. Wonderful company.
I shall be seriously considering something like that when I replace my fridge. I'd never seen one like that before - certainly never seen one in Currys/Comet/Other Electrical Retailers are Available....! The shelves look fab - you could get lots of different sized stuff in there without having to move the entire contents about.0 -
Access is really much, much easier - this morning I got my milk, butter and jam out without having to crouch down and do the usual rummage / lucky dip / rearranging half the contents kind of moves that I had to do yesterday morning so I'm still chuffed
.
I've got a dodgy left knee / right shoulder and this is so much easier to use - I love it.
OH can't see what all the fuss is about, and thinks my excitement is a little bit sad. I'll go away now and try to get a life:rotfl:!

Yes, can defo add to recommendations for Bosch fridge with the pull out drawers. It's so much easier to see right to the back and you don't miss things that need using up. Any spills don't drip through, either, if you get a spill, you can just remove that plastic drawer & wash it in the sink.2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
