Nope - water doesn't include arrears just our bill rate for the year....oh actually thats only paid for 8 months though so will split it in to 12 so should be £32 instead.

Can anybody tell me anything about the meeting you have to have with the OR...am dreading this, is it just me and them, what do they ask?

The OR interview is usually over the phone (although mine was in person). They will want to go over your SOA and maybe your reasons for going bankrupt, they will want to know if you have any assets (cars, expensive antiques etc.) that they can sell etc. Its nothing to be nervous of, just be truthful.

Hi...am taking the plunge and making my self bankrupt this year...finally! My partner has just started a new job and I am currently staying at home with our son who is 2. Just wondering if people could give me their opinions on the SOA below...not sure what allowances I am allowed to put down...I currently have about £40k of debt and have been on and off with arrangements for a few years now. The Telephone charge is a package with Telephone/Internet/Tv and is a neccesity as OH's daughter lives abroad so we have a court order stating contact arrangements via phone and skype. Haven't included any dental, haircuts, birthdays etc yet as do not know what I am allowed to put?? Any help greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks

I take it that it is just YOU that intend going bankrupt. In which case your SOA should be on YOUR Income and obviously a contribution to the general living costs i.e. gas electricity food etc. included as expenditure.

I don't actually have any income of my own as I am not working, I get child benefit and child tax credits but they are in both mine and partners name??
  • Don't worry Noodles, what you have been advised to do earlier is the way to go. Your SOA looks fine.
