Been in to local M&S today and have seen the Traditional wedding cake tiers are back on 342. This offer last expired 1st Oct 2009. They are not showing 342 on line but link is for reference puposes only - http://www.marksandspencer.com/Marks-and-Spencer-Traditional-Wedding/dp/B0015ZHXX6?ie=UTF8&qid=1270928186&ref=sr_1_1&sr=1-1&page=&node=80083031&mnSBrand=core&rh=

Official MoneySavingExpert.com insert:

You can find the cakes under the 3for2 offer here. You can order online and pick up in store for free. The offer's only online and is likely to run until the end of August. Thanks to stef240377 for the great tip!

i'm sure you can order now for weddings in the future so long as they are this year and still get the 342 offer. I have a relative who works for m&s and originally i was going to get my cake from there they told me to wait for the offer to order and my weddding isn't untill december and she said i would still get the offer.

Cakes cant be ordered more than 12 weeks from date needed or at least this was what was applied when i purchased mine last year. I also had to get it in a couple of days earlier than i needed due to the offer expiring.

I ordered mine on 26th thinking that they would take the money there and then but they haven't yet, would it be worth cancelling that one and re-ordering with 3 weeks to go or is it just to risky?

You could find out if you can cancel, then re order, then cancel.

But you have to think what you'd save, it's only the price of the smallest cake and is that worth that hassle?

Please can someone point out to me how you can tell which cakes are 3 for 2? It says in the in the 3 for 2 "Here's how" section that the promotional code will be on the item page, but I can't see a code on any wedding cake listing. Not sure if I'm staring right at it or it's not there?

Just above the colours it says those cakes are 3 for 2.

I've tried adding 3 to my basket and going along the buying process but I can't see where the price of one comes off?
