If it was my home club LFC then I'd of known straight away, but being a woman I don't keep up to tabs with all the other teams in the Premiership.
Besides, the site has other bargains too, which incidently, I decided to point out. Talk about negativity on this site when all you are trying to do, is point out ways of saving money.
A thanks wouldn't go a miss.
Don''t take it to heart cheeky, its not aimed at u personally > I think they were just pointing out that its not the real mcCoy to other MSers.
Have to agree, there are 1 or 2 other bargains to be had besides the "FAKE" f ball shirt.
thanksMSE:-)MoneySpendingExpert (-:0 -
I don't think there is any intention to mislead on the part of the site, this item is labelled as a Barcelona shirt not as a Barcelona FC shirt, it is merely the make, how else are they supposed to decribe them?
And yes many bargains to be had on that site!Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
(slightly off topic) Anyone remember when Newitts had just uploaded their new site a few years ago and, crazily, decided to donate £10 to spend with them for EVERY spelling/grammar mistake you could find??
I was off work with bronchitis at the time and managed to relieve them of almost £1500 of products. Whoever did the spellchecking on that site should have been shot!I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -

Well EXCUSE ME for not following world football and knowing the difference in between an authentic or a fake Barcelona top.
Thats exactly why I pointed it out. If some unsuspecting person who knows nothing about football except for the famous names think of buying one for a relative/friend they aren't going to get what they think they are buying. Yes it does say Barcelona not Barcelona FC but I still think it's a deliberate attempt to mislead people.
The observation was not made at you but at Newitts. And for whats it worth a football shirt at that price would probably interest quite a lot of club teams, which in itself is a good post.

Put your toys back in your pram. No one was having a go at you, merely pointing out it was not a Barcelona FC football shirt. Bit of a strange reaction after it was pointed out that it was just a generic football shirt - no one was remotely negative.
Save money all you want, you won't be wearing a Barcelona FC football shirt though
