Are you a member of your local Freecycle? You could stick a 'Wanted' post up and you might help someone clear their garage and get a freebie at the same time. :T0

Ikea are good Kiddicare are cheap but BEWARE if you have a problem they never reply to emails and do not publish a telephone number - they really don't want to know IME.0

I've never used them, but their 'contact page'has a number of options of how to get in touch with them:-

hels102 - what exactly are you looking for? Sometimes it's easy to fall into the trap of buying furniture exclusively for the nursery, when it would be better value to buy ordinary wardrobes, etc?The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0 -

If you are looking for wardrobes/drawers etc., I would just buy ordinary ones. Furniture branded baby or nursery tends to be more expensive.
Ordinary ones will last longer too. I'm hoping the bedroom furniture I bought for my boys when they were babies, will last till they leave home! Here I go again on my own....0
