Tell that to the senior consultant who looks after you when you are in ill health with something life threatening. He might not want someone to pay to treat you!
Besides, i doubt a doctor would dodge paying his student loan back!0 -
it sounds to me a reasonable question. perhaps OP doesnt want them to automatically take the money, perhaps they are about to do something with it. pehaps they have plans and just wanted to know if this action was legal or not??Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. No.... was agreeing that yes, everyone should pay back their student loan but does anyone know or can actually answer the op's question about them being able to 'arrest money in the bank account'
Quite simple- wouldn't want you to be 'confused' ?!! :eek:0 -

The new type loans issued after 1998 work like that.
The old mortgage style loans from 1998 and before do not.
They are paid just like any other normal credit. i.e. a direct debit from your account or by you making manual payments from your account.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
