Can you recommend an online pharmacy please?

I quit smoking using Champix but recenly lapsed.
I can't re-use the service til September.
I want to stop again this summer. I want to use Champix again.
Champix is available to buy from dozens of online pharmacies.
I've never used an online pharmacy before, does anyone have a recommendation?

I should have said it's not the price that's the main concern, I just want to know of an online pharmacy that actually sends the goods - having heard so many bad stories about them.0

champix is a prescription only item so there's no guarantee that what you're getting is the real deal. Also it's best to take this medicine with the supervision of a doctor as it has been linked to extreme changes in behaviour and some patients on it can even become suicidal. Can't you see your GP and discuss your options.0

Hi
try https://www.chemistdirect.co.uk or https://www.pharmacy2u.co.uk I have ordered from these many times and not had a problem....both are UK based and you can speak to a pharmacist over the phone before buying. Obviously for prescription only medication you will have to send your prescription in before they can send out the medication.
Hope this helps0 -
Hi
Thanks for your replies.
I know about the side-effects of Champix (from the course I took earlier this year) The only one I'm susceptible too is the nausea. The only medical supervision was blowing into a carbon-monoxide reader once a fortnight with the nurse at my surgery.
I can't get a prescription as they won't fund it. I have to wait a minimum of six months since my last prescription.
Those pharmacies mentioned above don't sell Champix.
That means the earliest I'd get any is September. The doctors are totally inflexible on this. Believe me I've tried
Am aware that some online pharmacies deal in fake medicines, hence me asking for recommendations rather than taking pot luck0 -
Why not get Champix prescribed on a private prescription which you can get from ANY doctor (my gp charges a tenner) then take that to any High St pharmacy and bob's yer uncle! You would have to pay full price minus the vat for the Champix though.0

I asked about a Private Prescription and my GP said they "don't do that". Any idea if I can simply go to another surgery and ask for that?0

I'm surprised that your GP turned down your request for a private prescription as its easy money for them (usually they ask for cash on the spot), however you should be able to request one from ANY gp on these shores...get the Yellow Pages out and ring surgeries around and i'm fairly sure you'll find in your area. Good luck!0 -
Got a recommend from a friend (healthexpress.co.uk) and have ordered.
Had to do quite a lengthy 'consultation' as well as give them my GP's name and address. Cost was £300 (ten weeks' supply). Which isn't bad when compared to the price of smoking. Paid by Visa Credit Card in case of problems.
They claim doctors review the prescriptions, so it could be that they do it like a private prescription. Just wait and see if it turns up now. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for all your help and advice guys.

I feel that I should update this for anyone thinking of doing a similar thing.
I got an email from healthexpress.co.uk last night saying they'd had problems processing my card and that they'd tried ringing me without any joy and could I ring them instead. I didn't have any missed calls on my phone.
I've tried to ring twice. Once this morning and once this afternoon. The phone just rings for ages, then finally an answering machine.
This has left me with zero confidence in that company.
So I went to a different site: PrivateMeds.co.uk. Went through an almost identical online consultation and health questionnaire. Had a card problem at checkout so I rang the number.
This was answered by a different company Pharmacy2U. The girl explained that Pharmacy2U fulfil the orders. I got the impression that they fulfil orders for several online 'clinics'. I sorted out my card problem and once again I await delivery.
So Pharmacy2U (via PrivateMeds.co.uk) at least answer the phone and are very helpful.
There was no difference in price. Though it looks like it's worth searching online for discount voucher codes as they have a box for that when you check out. I did find one online for the first website, but couldn't find a working code for PrivateMeds.
I'll update this again if I ever get the bloody stuff

Listen love, don't waste your money on these online 'consultations'. Request a private prescription from ANY gp in the UK then pop into your nearest Boots or Lloyds chemist and purchase Champix from there....it will be hell of a lot cheaper than £300!0
