Making own body sprays

Hi everyone,

I've recently started using a deodrant stone instead of my usual deodrant.

I like the effects but I'm used to the 'nice smell' you get with deodrants. I find it a bit odd to not have any smell, and am worried of smelling bad :o

I was thinking of making a body spray with essential oils, has anyone done this?

I was just going to put a few drops in an atomiser bottle with some water, do you think this would work or is there a better way?

Thanks for your help :D

I've done this - water works ok, but you need to shake to disperse the essential oils before use (not a problem with lavender or tea tree because you can use those oils direct on the skin anyway). I use a base of 90mls witch hazel and 10mls vegetable glycerine with a mix of oils in it. Lemon and corriander is nice :)
