I think the tesco dvd rental is a great idea - I too am starting that - had a 3 month trial a while back but am ready to pay for it now!

And well done for effectively getting it free!

    Hi Jacey,

Well done on making a start. You sound very similar to me with the weight loss and fitness - I'm overweight and very unfit as I sit at a desk all day. What sort of things are you doing for fitness?

About twice a week I get up early and do 15 minutes on the Wii fit. I also try and walk a bit at the weekends. I find it really difficult to motivate myself.

Just a tip about how I go about doing my banking and saving. I do all my banking online and the bank I am with Nationwide allows me to open up as many online savngs accounts as I like. I can also name them. I have the following accounts set up: car, bike (for DH), holiday, fish (for our tropical fish), oil (for our heating oil). All other things are on direct debit, e.g. electric, water, council tax etc. When I get paid I put so much into my separate little accounts. Its great becasuse the money is there and I can see it online but its not in my current account so I don't get tempted. See if your bank will allow you to do that?

    Good luck.

I am also the same re fitness/weight. I think sometimes it all comes together, you take control of one bit of your life and then all the others are under the microscope and everything needs sorting !!

Good Luck on your journey. I've subscribed.
