Thats good news, I assume you work for the NHS, can you claim back the tax if you are a student nurse?
  • Can anyone claim tax back on their union fees? I'm in Unison working for County Council, if that helps.
My sig's too large, apparently - so apologies to whoever's space I was taking up.:lipsrseal
  • i think so, but you dont pay tax on your bursery, you can prob claim for washing uniform, magazine, socks etc. mine was from 6years of not claiming (thats the max time frame). maybe call rcn direct and ask them what you can claim for

There's also a good one of these for if you get car mileage expenses. You can claim tax relief on anything between what you get reimbursed by your employer and 40p per mile. ie if your employer pays 15p you claim tax relief on 25p for every business mile you claim for.
