Moving from permanant to contract work - how easy to get a mortgage?

If it was me i would get a mortgage now when im in permenant work, just to make sure i get a good rate, there wont be a problem as long as you pay the mortgage, the banks wont care has long has you keep up your payments.
Just tell them in a few months you have lost your job but you have now got another, people lose their jobs all the time, VIGILANTE going on about you must tell you your lender, its just like him teelling people they will lose their homes by not getting consent to let.
He still hasnt showed us anyone story or link that someone has lost their homse for not getting consent to let, he just trying to scare monger.
Hes just tyring to generate work for himself /mortgage/financial advisors, he know people will need to use a broker for getting btl and self certificate mortgages, thats why hes always jumping on any ppost that mentions it.
@vigilante go out and get a proper job, and the other person beware of his pm's offering advice.0 -

Vigilant another post with you getting stick at the end of it!
Although NHO I suggest you provide proof or shut up about it. This site has rules for brokers to follow and they like vigilant and some of the others take it seriously.
So post us the proof or please drop it."Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies." Thomas Jefferson

Vigilant another post with you getting stick at the end of it! QUOTE]
DAN....I know you seize on any opportunity to put me down...and remark how people give "stick"....If you manage to observe that....how is it that you fail to observe it is the people who are suggesting obtaining borrowing by fraudulent means who give me "stick"....Odd you're very "selective" in your observations...........
.... "fraudulent" behaviour (regardless of by whom)....is one of the reasons you found yourself in the situation you're in.......therefore maybe you would have noticed this.....but no yr too busy checking what I have posted!
You just cannot help yourself continually having a dig...it's really sad you have to come on here day or night and check what I have posted and then add a negative comment......it's really amusing that you cant keep away from my posts........:)0 -
You know what Vigilant, I was standing up for you for a change! Your right what is being said is wrong and I hope they realise that this behavior is what got us in this mess along with lenders turning a blind eye.
I do however think that NHO should stop saying your PMing for business without proof!
Now wind your neck for a bit and think!"Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies." Thomas Jefferson
