Hiya all!!!
We've just been offered a mortgage (in principal) from Northern Rock, all our documents have been signed and certified, proof of income, payslips etc have been sent verified and returned to us.
Does anyone know what the next step will be or how long it is likely to take now?
Thanks

Ooohhh hope so scotty I'm getting too excited and don't want my hopes dashed, can't remember how long last one took (was 12 years ago mind you) I just want it done and dusted, everything was so straight forward, apart from the life assurance, it seems like we have had a new document to sign every other day for the last 2 weeks, but hopefully thats sorted now too. It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice!!0

I requested my new mortgage with Northern Rock last Tuesday, everything was submitted and I had a letter today confirming that "funds had been allocated to you at this rate" and they have instructed a valuation on our new property and will be in contact when they receive the report.
I also had an alert on my credit file yesterday which I am presuming is Northern Rock.
........Just noticed the letter was dated 31st Mar, (arrived today) the day after we submitted the application.Born and bred in Manchester (proud of it)
Now living on the other side of the Pennines0
