Instore?Poundstretcher had 3 for £8.99 recently but think offer may have ended, I got some 64l ones from Staples earlier in the year they were reasonable.
Another idea is Makro or Wilkinsons or better still advertise on your local Freecycle site for some and someone may give you some Free of charge.0 -
As a temporary measure I got some strong fruit trays from the supermarket. They stack on top of each other neatly and as they are quite shallow can easily be lifted down and hunted through. I've got eight, all labelled on top of each other in one cupboard. They are filled with stuff I carboot and I can stack the car in about 15 mins if I get up feeling like doing one!
Temporary = about 8 years so far!Love living in a village in the country side0 -
Morrisons often have some large lidded crates (clear box base with coloured lids) at 2.99 each or 2 for £5.
They are called storage box with clippy lid.

I bought some 30l ones from neat ideas http://www.neat-ideas.com/ENG/Catalog/cat_results.asp?txtSearch=storage&Filter=Value+Plastic+Storage they have been doing some great free gifts recently so check to see if there are any codes around first. P&P was only £2.50 and they were delivered the next day, I was very impressed!0

morrissons banana boxes, very strong and sturdy and free
have always used these when moving house or for storage etc, they come with lids, so all you need to do is fill label and store. you could always hide them with hanging a peice of material from top, old curtain will do.Nice to save.0 -
Ive just bought some from
http://www.alisonhandling.com/liddedboxes.html
they do new and 2nd hand ones, you pay for delivery, but if you need a few boxes (we wanted 40), then it was a lot cheaper0 -
Poundland sometimes have them - stackable but no lids. Saw some reduced in Somerfield this week three for £1.99 (stackable no lids) so may be worth looking in your local Somerfield. You could also try Sainsbury's/Homebase.
We have some brilliant ones that we bought from a carboot sale six for £5.00 plus lids (logoed with a company name and stamped chargeable if not returned!). Wanted more but never saw him again - think he may have got the sack ...... wonder why?0
