Really really need help/advice

As the title suggests I really need some help.
Myself and my partner are currently selling our flat and buying a house, however it has come to the point that if we DONT exchange and complete by the 15th of the month we will lose the place we are buying and all the money that goes with it and we have no money left to find another one and do all the survey and legal work ect.
The problem is the person were buying from - His solicitor will not return any of the estate agents call or our solicitors call or anyones and I have just been told that our buying hasnt even got the contracts yet, after being told everything was in and it was only waiting for our lease extension on our flat. I will get to my point is there anyway of getting this solicitor to call anyone back? I am at the end of my wits now and I know I cant but tempted to call him myself, it is a joke he doesnt even return our buyers calls, I feel he is playing with my life and future!! and to be honest that mind sound drastic but like I saod if we cant get this place then we will not be able to buy for a long long time. PLEASE ANY ADVICE WELCOME
