    just to let you know this router is not particularly fast, so you won't get a very fast internet speed through it

    data transfer is only 54mbps and datalink protocal is g. b is oldest, then g, then n (look for the letter on the end), so g is not gonna be very fast.

    i only know cause i have recently bought a router and found the tech info from my dad who used to work with computers

    they have much faster ones for £39.97 in currys - belkin n150 (150mbps instead of 54, and n instead of g) buy the starter kit with the dongle as belkin work much better with belkin dongle

    Not being mean, but this post is misleading.

    54mbps is still much faster than most people's broadband connection. Even with all the overheads and accounting for weak signal etc. 54mbps will handle a 20meg broadband connection. So unless you're on ADSL2+ or a similar speed service, or you have a need to transfer data quickly on your home network (even streaming HD video will work on 54mbps) then 54mbps is not really that much of a limitation.
