Just as an aside, this wine is always 3 for £10 at asda but congrats on your bargain

tesco also give a 5% discount on any 6 bottles of wine you buy. does that make it work out better? You are braver than you believe, stronger than you feel, and smarter than you think

Innit! I'm no wine buff, and would be happy with Blossom Hill.
I'd draw the line at Lambrini for the toasts though :rotfl:0 -

Comments like that are probably why you don't get invited to weddings...0 -

Isn't your signature pretty rubbish?
We like this wine on the basis that it might not be the best quality in the world but it's easy to drink for most. I hate it when you go to a wedding and you know the couple have paid £15-£20 a bottle and it's too sharp to drink! I don't really care if you think me common or anything else, I see no reason to waste money paying for excellent wine when I actually prefer this.
However Dave, be sure to let us know all your excellent wedding plans and we'll be sure to belittle you too if you'd like? If not perhaps you'd like to sod off? (I think your invite may have been lost in the post anyway, sorry about that.)Bump due 22nd September0 -
Superfran, I saw it at Asda but I am a valued opinioner, and the vouchers I got were for tesco, also I'm a sucker for clubcard points!
Aimsay, that might help to work out the price, although I am wondering if the checkout lad got his scanning right?
Wolfehouse, we'll chuck them back in the car, you'd be amazed how much wine the boot of a Megane can take - rubbish car but good for transporting wine (or kingsize beds...)
Rainbow - we've got lemonade with food colouring for the toasts. No one will know ;-)
We're also down to 70 bottles now, it was a good weekend!Bump due 22nd September0 -

We were watching a dinner show last week cant remeber the name and a woman was asking for bottled water - the guy ran out so gave her tap water in a fncy bottle and she couldnt stop raving about how shed never seen that label before but it was a really nice taste!0 -
Lol I am actually quite tempted, if the toasts were after the meal then I think I would, just for the hell of it!
It amazes me that people think they can tell the difference between tap and bottled water - tap water tastes so different depending on where you live it's near impossible! Some people are too snobby for their own good!Bump due 22nd September0
