Cheap way to clean a caravan/motorhome exterior?

We use Universal Stone, it's not abrasive as it sounds but it gets anything off without scratching and you can use it inside your van can too. It leaves a shiny protective coat. Brilliant and it doesn't have any chemicals in it so it's safe for people like me with asthma.0

Oilive Oil (or any oil or marg/butter/lard etc.
Pu a bit on a cloth and gently rub in circular motions, it will thin the tar and at first look like a mess, but then wipe off with a clean cloth.
If there is quite a bit, you can do it in small bits. Works well.
We once had a tar machine drop an enormous piece down the back of our yellow car, but did not know until we were home and that was a day later - so it had really dried on. Got the bulk off first with an oiled up cloth, then started on the rest.0 -
