  • For info, REMO hasn't been good for me. I think it might have been different if there was an existing court order for child maintenance in place, so if the OP's partner has that, then REMO may well be the way to go if she chooses to persue it (I certainly would! Why should any parent not pay for their child)

    My REMO application went forward in November 2008. The latest I've heard from the 'reciprocal country' (!) is that they have just now written to the courts here in response to my application asking why the CSA arn't chasing payment from the ex here in the UK...DUH! I despair.

    So unfortunately for me REMO hasn't been much help.

    Good luck OP, I am using NACSA now to help and advise me with my upcoming tribunal hearing, and they have been brilliant. It is worth the £50 and more!
