Hi OS-ers...can I pick your wonderfully inventive brains please?
DH and I are going to a fancy dress party on Saturday, no theme but there is a stipulation that you have to wear a mask...this is either harder than you think or I am being particularly thick! Only have tomorrow to sort out costumes, so not much chance of buying online etc, and also rather skint so needs to be cheap, preferably homemade. Hubby wants to go as phantom of the opera and I am making him a cloak and white mask, but I am still totally flummoxed for ideas for my own costume!
Any idea's very welcome please. thanks in advance

I went to a party as catwoman - those black shiny leggings that are everywhere, with black boots, a black top and a cat mask. Had the top and boots already, picked the leggings up in Primarni for a couple of quid and got the mask in a toyshop for a pound.
Or put a banana clip over your eyes and go as that chap from Star Trek!0 -
Pierrot clown was the cheapest fancy dress costume i've ever made, white shirt black trousers, oversized buttons made from carboard and attached with safety pins, an eyemask is easy to make, add a headscarf and some kids white face paint and your good to go.
Have a great night0 -
What about a pirate with an eye patch (at least it's a sort of mask)?0
