Anyone claimed cashback from Nikon???

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has successfully claimed cashback from Nikon for a D5000 DSLR??

I have just purchased one from Dixons online as they have a link to £50 cashback from Nikon on their website and I thought that the whole deal would be around £441 after cashback and Easter discounts etc - cracking price for that camera

Anyway the conditions state that camera must be supplied by Nikon UK Ltd but mine which arrived today appears to have been distributed by Nikon Europe BV (on the warranty card) which would suggest that it is not eligible for the cashback.

Can anyone remember what was on their warranty Nikon UK or Nikon Europe?

I will call Nikon tomorrow but thought I'd ask now to put my mind at ease or not!

Cheers

Mark

Thanks for the reply. Called Nikon this morning and apparently all is OK - even though it states distributor is Nikon Europe BV it is really Nikon UK Ltd - how confusing is that!??

Hubby's wanting to buy the Nikon D90 but hesitating due to the price. He seems to think if they bring out a new model the D90 may reduce in price. Dixons seem to be the best at the moment especially using a 5% dicount code.
