What can I do with old hoover bags?

Today I emptied the vacuum cleaner. I took the paper bag out and spent 10 minutes pulling all the bits out the little hole. One neighbour thought this was hilarious, the other leaned over the fence and whispered 'You are supposed to throw those away dear'. I replied 'are you mad? Its only 3 years old'.

Anyone else re-use their disposable bags.

Oh yes...and I used to repair them with duck tape when they split - although I think that might affect them working properly.

I now don't need to bother as I have a non-bag vacuum cleaner!

I have to admit, my last hoover was around 10 years old, and i was still using the bag that came with it! :eek:

Something is seriously going wrong with my beloved Vax, I'm having to change bags every time now as huge holes and tears keep appearing in the bags

Yeap - not bought a bag in over 4 years - in fact the bag still looks good, but the hoover is on it's last legs!.

I sold some on ebay last week. My OH couldn't believe they sold.

Or if you can't be bothered to sell, offer them on freecycle (giving the make/code if you have it) and someone will happily collect them from you.

I have five hoover bags which i have just found out at the bottom of the draw.
I don't have the hoover for them anymore.

What can I do with them?
