I'm not quite that paranoid, but have you thought about buying a bottle of alcohol hand cleaner? Usually get them easily in pound shops, either one 200ml bottle, or sometimes a set of four 50ml ones. The first is obviously better value, but the smaller ones are just the right size to keep in your handbag/glove box and you can then refill from the bigger ones. Great to carry around and much more hygienic than using a sloppy soap bar and a tap dozens of other people have used. Last for ages too.
