Cahoot direct debit stopped

My cahoot loan direct debit has been coming out of my bank on the 26th of each month for the lasy 4 years, yet the 26th of march payment hasn't left my account yet? Checked and the dd is set up for the new santander so everything iis correct my end. ANy clues on this and whta, if anything i should do? Has it happened to anyone else? I cannot log on to my account either on the cahoot website?

They set up a new DD (with account number and sort code for Santander) for mine and it was taken out on the correct date.
Your cahoot online access has stopped, they have told you several times by email and message on the site about this process.

Even more confused now. I haven't had any correspondence off Cahoot or Santander. My dd is set up as Santander but nothing has come out of my bank as it had until Feb 2010.
They certainly haven't told ME several times about any changes?

Did you check your email and secure messages in your account ? I got at least a couple of emails from them and a couple of messages saying what the timescales were and when I would lose online access etc.

I received messages stating that the online access was stopping, and stating i was going to receive paper statements, but still to this date never have received one!!! My first payment without accessing the account online is 15th, and if it is any different amount :mad:to the last one in March, i will not be happy!!!

no nothing and my account isn't accessable now either. Are people getting inceased monthly amopunts on the back of this too?

OMG....i hope not, i budget for the same amount each month, if anything higher is debited, i will ask the bank to return the funds, and then write to them complaining......

it doesn;t appear that anyone else has had a month were the amount hasn;t been collected does it. Think i'd be best putting it to one side until they clock on, just hope they don't try hitting me with any charges!

Our DD is set to come out on 24th of each month. Didn't come out at all in March,husband called them up.Santander said the payment was showing as received to them??? Husband said it hadnt been taken,they said to contact our bank.We did this...there has been no attempt to draw the DD. We contacted Santander again...to be told thay this glitch was quite major affecting many accounts and that if it is showing as received to them it is not our fault.We were looking to pay off the loan next month so will see what happens then.There is another thread about this problem with Cahoot/Santander loans.

Another casualty of the Cahoot/Santander chicken-up here.

DH noticed last month's Direct Debit had not been collected, phoned up & was assured that this was their oversight which would be dealt with asap, not to worry blah blah...

Today we got a letter telling us we owed them money etc etc & now their switchboard appears to be jammed

Rude letter on the way.
