Checking a credit rating

Please can someone tell me how to do this? I did it once (seem to remember sending £2 to two companies), but can no longer remember. Thanks.

I did it recently and it not difficult. Just go to the Experian or Equifax web sites and follow instructions. Martin :money: has an article about how to do it for free. Again, dead easy. Just give them your details online, they will send you a password out by normal mail, and then you can log in and check your report. (Beware, I accidentally hit a button on the website for further info and it cost me £5).

Once you have checked your report, or printed it out, phone their free phone number and cancel your membership. No questions asked or difficulty with this either.

I was actually quite surprised by mine, give it a shot.

Here is a link to Martins Article. It includes links to all the sites plus the loophole of how to get it for free.
